The 1 year of BCom was not required to enroll in the Diploma. However since my field of expertise is Management we were able to combine the 1st year of BCom with my 3 years of Diploma of XYZ Management. My Labor Cert also states that academic studies equivalent to a US Bachelors.
It is important that everyone understand that each case is different. In this case was the 1 year of the BCom required for admission into the diploma program? Otherwise in my opinion (and anything can happen with any one adjudicator at USCIS) it souns like you are combining, which is allowed for EB3 when so stated on the Labor Cert.

I dont believe Indian govt can help in this...Lets first gather people and we will let you know the next course of action. There are bunch of people in Face book who got struck up in visa delays. I am trying to reach out to them. Its big group...try to get them here. Please contact those people...

Well, what is the point in saying it now, he should have said it in the 90s and early 2000 when industry was booming and people found a career path in coming to the US.
Right now, so much work is outsourced and it is continuing. Very difficult to get a IT job in US on h1b and IT consulting on h1b also facing so many hurdles. For any new immigrant on a software job who wants to get a h1b visa and green card - it is not an easy task.

But their lives could be made easier by providing schools, making sure that power condition and commuting is reasonably all right " Looks like he wants to still have the "less expensive" advantage over non-Indian companies / competition and he just wants more and easy H1B's and does not like the path to permanent residency and eventually citizenship and integrating with the American society - which is what American immigration is for. Just need the $$$. Though there are many good to learn from this company and this man, I do disagree with his views when it comes to immigration to USA.

Talked to an io at neb sc.within 5 sec of me starting to talk the ffice interuppted and she apologosed for doing that and said because of huge vol of appli there is a delay in the receipt notice.i SAID I AM july 2 nd filer and she said it might be in the first week of aug..(i had said the same thing in my earlier post too after i spoke toa diff officer)..She asked to keep checking the check clearnace.

And on the top nothing is justified .....
only two centers process LAbor Certs. Chicago approves in 4 days mx, but Atlanta Center approves in 4 months .... So people who applied in chicago can file their 485 but people who filed in Atlanta cannot.
Why dont u show ur frustration there ??
And legally, LS or LC or what ever or GC for that matter in these cases, is an employer based peition. And if a legal company wants to do it ......why r u guys worried .......DO NOT GENERALIZE EVERYONE. and on the top .... no one is a dharmatma here as someone said .......
And I know many people even on this forum who just alter their experience letters to match the skill set on the labor ? What about that ? Even that is a bigggg fraud ......Even if it is ur own labor

yes I have, I have been a contributing member from Apr 2006 when there just a handful of members. I have so far contributed 450 dollars in regular intervals of 100, 50. We also took up the talk to senator campaign in our state and met our 13 district congressman and senators from WA and explained IV's position. I have also provided input to IV core on how to contact them in DC. My wife regularly posts IV messages in orkut where she is an active member. I used to put my contribution in my signature until I read a post where people were complaining on putting up the signature. I plan to use my miles for me and my wife to go to DC if I get my time off approved. I had planned to go on 13th. I have gotten 10 contributing members to join IV so far. If you still have doubts on my IV contributions, let me know and I will be more than happy to do a public disclosure on my funds contributed!

When I immigrated to the US, I believed that this country was a meritocracy where you were judged based on your abilities and qualities. These country based quotas reward people depending on where they or their ancestors were born. This causes people from India and China to wait over a decade to get a green card whereas someone from another country with similar or lesser abilities can obtain permanent residence in half that time.
Since these EB category based green cards are awarded for professional skills, imposing a country based quota just does not make any sense. I urge you to work with Congress and change this discriminatory policy and reinforce that America is truly a society that celebrates meritocracy."
