What make you think BCOM or BBA or BSC is less than any other Bachelor degree EB3 own labor guys have. I am not here to defend or oppose LS. But before you talk about people who are not from same educational background as you, you should come out of bottom of Rock you have been living and breathe some fresh air. I for one, who has BCom and able to get my labor and GC cleared without using any of short cuts. :mad::mad::mad:

The best thing to ask for is a "time factor". If you have been in the US LEGALLY for a certain number of years (say 5 years), then you can apply for a Green Card (GC). That way people who have put some roots here over time will be able to become permanent residents. It also provides an incentive to immigrants to stay in status.
Why should there be a time factor from "GC" to "Citizenship" and none from visas like H1 to "GC"? It doesnt make sense! After all, I would think it should be harder to become a Citizen than to becoming a GC holder.
US should look up north to their Canadian neighbours for a good immigration system. A point system too would not be bad. It can determine how deep you have put down roots and then give you GC based on that.

I think we need an IV movement to fix the Indian Consulates - They are absolutely pathetic - Lets get our house in order before we try to fix the USCIS !!! how to keep ur PMP certification active..? I understand that we have to have 60 credits of PDU to keep PMP acitve....what is the cheapest / easiest way to keep it active...??...also...i cannot get the pdu etc from my work place as i am not PMO role yet....

People can show someone elses fedex receipt and claim that they too mailed their application. How can USCIS find out which fedex receipt is for what application?

No, only allows people on H4 for more than 6 years to get a H1B of their own for 6 years or until their spouses EAD/GC's arrive.
When you say 'no'...did you answer my question (If someone has already spent 6 years on H1B can he/she convert to H4 status?).

I don't understand how many of our members think that this is the right thing to do. Haven't we got enough chains on us already ? :rolleyes:
We are like beggars in this country. This country and its people do not want us here and are doing everything permissible under law to throw us out of here (if no law then they just make one up).
But we are such suckers that we do not want to leave this country and go back home. Gandhi fought to get rid of white masters but we were destined to serve one anyway. I don't understand why I don't live in my own country and contribute to its economy. Why am I tolling so hard to live here? I don't know when will my hard head understand this silly concept.

Let us see how many IV folks are in this boat. It is really unfortunate that you guys have had to wait. I think there are others who may have applied later in EB3 and due to different state labor, they got their GC in a couple of years. Now they maybe preparing for citizenship while you are still waiting for greencard. The labor backlogs have created this situation.

I am still waiting for FP notice, i got my EAD/AP/RD, for both of us.
It was filed @ NSC on July 6th, ---> CSC -----> NSC. I got my LUd on 09/21 last on our 485.

Note sure what you're looking for. The memo I cited went into effect on June 16th. If that's not what you're looking for, you can try "press room" at USCIS's website where all memos are listed by date.
I tried CIS press room, but couldn't find it. And i'm sure that about couple of weeks back i saw that memo (which states if initial evidences are not present, they might reject/deny a case without RFE). It was posted on this board and now its very hard to search with few words.
