H1Bslave you have no idea what you are talking about. Find me a single Senator who is opposed to illegals and favors legals. By Legals I mean H1Bs like you and me. Ask that Senator if he supports H1Bs completely.

1.Apply for new H1 petition(premium processing) for you before July 31.
2.On approval send the H1 papers to your wife so that she can get H4.
3. On her entry to USA apply for her I-485.
Then you can live happily together in america.
P.S: Even when you have used AC21, in hindsight you should have got H1B instead of using EAD.

To OP: Even if you moved to EAD you can come back to H1. If dates had not moved so much to make your PD current, what was your plan for your wife? B1/F1 is not a good idea (immigration intent is obvious, and it will catch up with you at some point most probably during 485 processing and could result in a rejection). It looks like H1-H4 is the best option if you two lovebirds want to be together.
If you do get approved early, then as someone else has said, use follow-to-join to bring her back here.
Also, using cruel in the thread title is uncalled for. The root cause of most of your problems here seems to be the decision to invoke AC-21 using EAD instead of using H1. If you dont mind sharing: why did you jump to EAD knowing that it would mean your wife would be out of status and would have to return to India?

Is my H-1b still valid. I have scheduled travel on August 15'th 2008 via London (LHR). I believe, London airport does not allow any one with out proper visa's and documentation.

this is absurd, why would wire transferring money have immigration officer visit the candidate, if they dont want to give us GCs then most people will continue to transfer money.

I doubt there is some thing like range fixed for lawyers. They can charge what ever they want. Asking those Q's will only cause more resentment than any thing else.

The comment about the "Fee Increase" might be partially true. There is surely a surge in number of application for Naturalization, to avoid the few increase... Atleast I know a couple of friends who applied for citizenship....

Well, for one, a driver's license is the most commonly accepted proof of identity. It's not just about driving skills. The procedures for it's issuance affect the security of the country. Sorry, I think it is you who are missing the point.
Drivers license is not meant to be used as an identity document. US has screwed that logic anyways. One of the security issues is this country uses drivers license as an identity document.
Even if it has to be used for identity purpose, an identity document says this document represents the person holding it and his identity has been verified. Immigration status or job verification has nothing to do with identity.
How does employment verification serve the security needs ? If so, are citizens guaranteed not to do anything against the security of the country ? I don't think so.
Are employers the ones who vouch for security credentials of an individual ?

Dont Know from past 20 yrs after coming out of college, for some reason I dont like Infy.
( It is not that I didnt get a Job there ) I had been to there couple of facilities in various cities in India for pre-sales and post sales product support.
I got their offer couple of years back and decided not to join. I was disguised the way the HR manager spoke. He was telling me to work for lower wage than what I was making for the privilege of working for them.

...It goes without saying that as much as the United States has a duty to protect its citizens it also has a duty to be equally diplomatic toward foreigners and not continue persecuting the one or the other long after any condemning sentence has been exacted and executed.

The government is telling my family I am not an adequate person to form a family with in the U.S. because I was deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana, yet it is granting the 212(d)(3) Waiver for Non-Immigrant Visas to Aliens deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of marijuana and who wish to travel to the U.S.. United States Citizens need an Immigrant Visas Waiver available to their Alien Immediate Relatives deported with a drug-related offence of more than 30 grams of Marijuana in order to even the scales on both U.S. citizen and Alien immigration privileges concerning Deported Aliens with a Drug-Related Offence of More than 30 Grams of Marijuana.
The way things are now U.S. citizens without a criminal conviction and with Alien Immediate Relatives are being discriminated against by their own government. The needs of deported Aliens with criminal convictions are being placed before their own.
It�s pure hypocrisy and it�s my family�s and my name being placed on the line.
I mean, really, how great can the U.S. be if it�s willing to lose their citizens to aliens like me when they decide to move outside of the United States to join their Immediate and shunned Alien Relatives? People with '01/'02 PD's getting GCs before the rest is a bad thing because .....?
One minor side effect is that India EB dates might further retrogress because still there a lot of folks with PD 2001,2002 etc pending namecheck clearance.
